The Mythfit Realm
An insulated world, the Mythfit Realm is a realm of intensity. Everything is brighter, darker, stronger, overwhelming the senses upon entry. Sparsely populated toward the outer edges, most life can be found closer to the heart of the realm. Its inhabitants are naturally friendly, inviting, and curious, though some—particularly the Guardians—have learned to be wary of travelers and Outlanders. It is a great honor to bring this unique and captivating world to you.
Creatures of the Realm
Shroomen
Topped with mushroom cap heads and spawned from the spores of their predecessors, Shroomen are avid explorers, filled with curiosity and wanderlust. Once sporelings—young Shroomen—break off from the tree roots and debris they grow from, they enter their adolescence and begin their journey to learn more about the world around them. Originating in forest at the heart of the Realm, most Shroomen can be found under the trees, though some more daring and adventurous may travel far beyond its borders.
Rockems
Tumbling to life from the shoulders of Mavmon, the rock giant, Rockems are naturally durable and long-lived. As a result, Rockems tend to be incredibly friendly, amicable, and will eagerly approach any creature they encounter. Many of them reside in a prairie to the south of the forest among the rocks that litter the ground there. On occasion, they might mistake an inanimate rock for one of their own, as discernment is not their strong suit.
Dragons
From the humble Butterfly Dragon to Unadrak, the King of Dragons, dragons are one of the most diverse populations in the Mythfit Realm. They primarily reside across the Giant's Canyon from the rocky prairies, though they can be found everywhere throughout the Realm—the forest, the coast, the mountains. With a tendency toward self-importance, they can easily be goaded into action by flattery. They are also possessive of their hoards, whatever it might be comprised of, from flowers to cats to gold.
Botans
In the age-old question of nature versus nurture, Botans are both. Tending to have roots for feet, leaves for arms, and any variety of flower, blade, frond, or otherwise for heads, their appearance varies widely based on biome, ecosystem, and topography. They dedicate themselves to growth and celebrate all forms of weather for the benefits they receive. Sticking together in small villages and communities, they embody and encourage nature's persistence. A plant does not die on a Botan's watch unless they want it to.
Gritters
Sculpted within the walls of sandcastles, Gritters are built, not born, brought to life by heart magic. Embracing transience and ephemerality, when a sandcastle falls, Gritters are not discouraged, beginning construction on a new one. Primarily found on shorelines and beaches, most Gritters wears little shell caps. The largest community of Gritters, however, can be found in the far west, deep in the desert, where they swap shells for any manner of debris from sticks and stones to cactus flowers.
Guardians
The first sentient life in the Realm, Guardians are beings of immense power who accepted the responsibility of protecting the Realm from outside threats. Despite being unified by their single objective, each Guardian is unique, one of a kind within the Realm. One Ora. One Mavmon. One Salbor. Throughout history, some Guardians have fallen, and some new ones have arisen, but their mission remains the same, constant through the ages: safeguarding the well of heart magic deep within the forest and defending every being the magic sustains, including themselves.
Threats
The greatest internal threat to the Mythfit Realm is the Nullifier and its Nullings, which are creatures of pure Undoing. This creature first appeared during the Age of Fade and Fracture and is credited with the turning of several Guardians against the Realm, including the Mistbeast, Glace, Frig, and the Cold One. The turned Guardians are now threats in and of themselves, endangering the heart magic and any beings who stand in their way.
Outlanders
Outlanders, sometimes regarded as realm travelers and other times as invaders, are creatures and beings who come from beyond the Mythfit Realm. Not all Outlanders are threats, though many of them have caused irreparable damage to the balance of the Realm. Despite this, a few have managed to earn the trust and respect of the Guardians, including Ray, Esme, and Madam Fae.

Creatures of Note
Adumbra the Snowdoe
Officially called Adumbra the Second Star, he welcomed Madam Fae into the Realm and escorted her on her first adventure.

Creatures of Note
Ora the Guardian
Head of the council of Guardians, Ora is the Watcher of the Heart of the Realm and the creator of the Overseeing Orb.

Creatures of Note
The Mistbeast
Originally called Vesper, the Mistbeast is the first of the fallen Guardians who now aid the Nullifier.

Upcoming Project
A series of tales regarding current state of the Mythfit Realm are being compiled to be shared with others and Outlanders alike. In time, these stories will be available for all who seek them.
