About

Since I was very young, I have been fascinated with myths and creatures. When attending events as a child, I would often be given drawing supplies to keep myself occupied, drawing creatures and inventing new stories. Twenty years later, not much has changed.  To this day, I still find myself creating fantasy creatures, exploring new worlds, and telling stories.

All throughout my life, I found myself drawn to stories, particularly fantasy tales. I would share stories at the playground, write scripts for plays, draw fan art of Lord of the Rings and the Percy Jackson series, perform theatre, run Dungeons and Dragons (D[&]D) [games], and complete a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts.

Over time, it became so glaringly obvious to everyone around me that I had a talent for art and storytelling. So, when life took an unexpected turn, I was politely nudged by many to create Misfits&Mythics. Now, with the endless support of my husband, family, and friends, I am creating my own stories to tell and worlds to dive into. That is how this all got started but the adventure has only just begun…
